i havent hit the arms on anything that i know of....I'll get some more pics of the rear when there is less snow packed in it, and as far as where the pics were taken... they were out just past R mountain at the little butte, and out at twin bridges near rire........
We do alot of stupid stuff,,, I'm acctually thinking of selling the runner now and buying another older toyota truck to build a truggy... and then getting a titan to pull it with, what u guys think??

I like the Tundra more but too much money, I can get a crewcab fully loaded titan for 20,000 it will pull a big laod to, the other option was 2002 or newer duramax, but they r still over 30,000

ok sorry, the upper mount, there is only one. in the link i gave it shows where it is, its the part i tore and had to be redone and triangulated, it is on the passenger side frame towards the front of the gas tank. we built a mount there and steve made a bad A panhard bar.

As much as I love Toyota, I would have to agree on the Titan especially since the Titan has a fully boxed frame unlike the Tundra But then again all the "American made" Toyota trucks (Tundra, Tacoma) seem to lack this very important feature. That is why I love my 3rd gen truck since it was the last generation made in Japan that was sold in America.

Oh and I think that I have more than 6" of lift on my truck as I am running 37's

I'm just trying to figure out if you really needed 6" for 315's. I mean, I have 3" suspension now with 305's. I just wonder if you could have gotten away with less body lift if fitting the tires w/o rubbing was your only objective.

rubbing I still have with suspension stuff up front when applying the brakes, not enough for me to care, and the rear bump stops aren't long enough to stop the rear tires from rubbing at full stuff in the rear. maybe a body lift would help that, but I'm not going to add any more height to mine.

as for the guy on 37's, i get 16 in of travel with mine, you probably get 10....

16" in the rear... the front, well... hehe.

You may be right about that since I have leaf springs in the rear and not a linked suspension. But I have full 5" rear leaf springs and 1.5" lift rear shackles and no blocks or body lift either. Guess I should have gotten a 4Runner and bought a sick 6" lift kit so that I could have 16" of wheel travel as well. But I wasted my money on a SAS.

front suspension

Hey i have to say nice runner. I have 99 runner as well and installed a 2.5" lift, new springs, shocks the works, and I did it all myself with limited tools being that im only 17. I had a hell of a time installing the front coilovers because they were soo much longer than my original set up. If 2.5" was so hard for me how did you get that 6" lift cause now that ive seen my car this size i would like to maybe go bigger

Basically it would be a huge pain in the butt, unless you have someone who knows all about rear end geometry, we r working on a kit to sell with all the directions on how to do the rear end and all the parts you would need, the only thing is someone would need to weld it all on. the front was simple bolt on stuff but the rear is way more work... If anyone is interested let me know...

Ninja - you should run out to Kelly Canyon and do some wheeling. Take the back way there are more trails out that way and you can probable access the area easier since the two front gates will probable be closed due to snow.

rigght now there is too much snow to go up there i have the whole back area mapped out on my GPS that includes the 4wheeler trails as we then to take those alot. I do love it up there though. I went out to websters dam and couldnt get more the 5 ft off the road it was too deep. the road is not even plowed that far so it was interesting to get there.

Nice. I talked to my brother and when he went to work this morning it was -26 so I could see how it might be a little difficult.

Have you taken it out to the St. Anthony sand dunes at all?

SCRunner, I'm digging the way you did you 6in lift, less of a pain in the ass then mine. what kind of travel out of the rear and how is the ride that way?
I paid 350 for my coils and got them from a place custom wound, got them a little stiff for the rear bumper and tire carrier that CBI is making me.
