Help tailgate
I had this listed and 80+ people looked at it and no one even bothered to say hey man that sucks I wish I could help.
I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner SR5. My rear wiper stopped working so I thought maybe the motor went bad, so I replaced it. DIDNT WORK. I thought next that it may be the relay that is on the tailgate, so I replaced it. DIDNT WORK. My rear window go down when I lift the tailgate. It seems to have a mind of its own. Someone mentioned that it might be a grounding problem. Any suggestions, I had to unplug the tailgate so my window didnt keep going down and I have no rear wiper. PLEASE HELP.

OK....if your '00 is like my '97 you may want to check the bundle of wires at the top of the tailgate.
I had to repair half of them on my 4Runner, they were breaking at the point where the rubber boot is inbetween the tailgate and body.
There is a connector above the headliner, you can check there also with a multimeter.
Hope this helps.
