the tjm 15 is similar to the 17 but with the steel tubing around the upper grille, much like the arb. both the arb taco bar and tjm 15 are 715 bucks over at 4x4connection.com. good looking runner you got there
anyone have any assistance to offer from the questions above? i don't want to make my own thread about this

i actually have the ipf white covers, i've just been cruising for the first 24 showing off the shiny lights they will most definitely go on today.
important question: i have 265/75r16s on stock 16x7s. will these tires fit on aftermarket 16x8s? I can get a great deal on a set if i act really fast

With the Clear covers, you never have to take them off and on to use the lights. They can stay on the entire time.
And Yes, those tires will fit a 16x8. Many members here run that setup or have done so in the past.
I personally would like to upgrade my rims to a 16x8 when I upgrade my tires to a 265/75/16.

Hey RoorRunner,
I think the long skinny piece is the cross brace for newer Tacomas, so we don't have to use it. The other larger piece is a skid plate that connects the bumper to the factory skid plate.
Here's a link to some pic's and more instructions.

I never got around to finishing my project yet. It'll have to wait for the long weekend.

aww your bumper is so shiny and not scratched up yet!
lookin good man, and just to confirm MTL up above, you are gonna drop in the front A LOT more! a 110lb bumper will do it to your springs, esp. if you beat on it. just wait till you get an 80lb winch in that thing also!!! glad you went with the taco bar, the prado bar just looks too funny to me IMO.

i agree, here's a little flexy shot i did on campus while killing time
i think i'm getting the 2.5 in lift this summer so hopefully i won't be sagging TOO much until then. as for the prado.....i second that emotion haha.
i'll have rockcrawler rims on tomorrow so more pics to come, debating whether or not i'm going to put them on my existing 31s or keep them on the used 31s they're coming on. got the set of 4 new wheels with 2 newish tires (2 crappier) for 200, woo hoo! tis a good week for my rig
