Help Please! Spacer install!!

I'm installing the Revtek kit on my 97 Tacoma. I've got the spring/strut assembly out, springs compressed. But I can't get the nut on the top of the strut loose without the whole shaft spinning. What am I missing? I don't see anywhere I can hold the shaft while turning the nut to loosen it. Can any of you help please?

If I remember doesn't the shaft right above the nut have a flat spot? I used an adjustable wrench to hold it then loosen the nut.

Some of them will also have a hole in the top to put an allen wrench in to hold the shaft.

Also make sure you have your spring commpressors on tight and the spring slightly compressed. If you don't that bolt will come shooting off.
