Help Overheating 3.0
So i have a 94 3.0 runner and it started overheating the other day. I quit driving it immediately and open the hood to find a small crack next to the filler on the radiator. I patched it up and it blew right away. The radiators been flushed a few times actually, but its still up to its old tricks. The top hose warms up but the bottom never does. I've also noticed some white smoke from my tailpipe...Doh!! Anybody got some advice or want to be the bearer of bad news. Thanks alot guys.

If you have the time, do a used oil analysis to see if there is any coolant in the oil.
Get the radiator replaced.
Use genuine toyota red coolant with distilled water.
Check the thermostat..?

white smoke could just be moisture. it has been pretty cold lately. more importantly id check to see if your coolant level is decreasing. that would be my main concern. if coolant doesnt appear to be leaking or consumed them id check the thermostat and pump or blocked passages. If coolant is dissapearing then obviously you have either an internal or external leak.
again is the coolant level steady??

Check the fan clutch. When the engine is at normal temp, turn it off and spin the fan. If the fans spins like 2-3 times, it needs to be rebuilt. If it spins only 1/4 to 1/2 turn it could be other things.
