So my 2nd gen taco access cab trd off road got totaled and I am in search of a new rig. I have decided I wanted a 3rd gen 4runner. It is extremely difficult to find a 99-2000 4runner with rear diff lock. I found some 96-98 with rear diff lock but mostly beat up conditions, then the ones that are clean doesn’t have the diff lock and also I wanted a little more updates like the 99-20. Then there is some real nice 01-02 that are all over the place but these have a center diff lock and no rear locker.

So, since I wanted more features, the 96-98 are out of the question. That leaves the 99-02. Should I keep at it trying to find a 99-00 with diff lock, find one without a diff lock and add an arb or find a 01-02 with center lock and add arb diff lock? Also, I am going to add a front diff lock for this rig too. Is there any issues to adding a front and rear diff arb locker on the center locked 01-02 because I heard about the atrac on these years.
