Help.... headlights don't shut off
#22
eight month old battery was DEAD yesterday. Dead as in not even a light flicker from the dome lights.
Wyomming informed me that i failed to tell eveyone about the rear tail lights also.
Whatever position the switch is in, the taillights and headlights all stay on. There is no dimming of the headlights like a traditional DRL.
We haven't driven the truck in almost three weeks, or it just seems like it. Maybe i left something on to make it go dead, who knows.
Could it be a relay or the headlight switch????

I guess i could take a ride out to your house and help you figure this out.
I was thinking drive it to work but then I will never have enough time to take a peak.
I also don`t have The Toyota electrical manual
Do you remember when this first started??
was it when you had the gas tank out??
I don`t know does this year have a timer to keep the lights on after you turn off the key and exit the vehicle??
