Help Broke a Brake Line !!
Hey guy's,
While working on my brakes this weekend, I was trying to free a stuck caliper piston, which is still stuck and to make a long story short, I now need a new caliper and a new section of brake line that connects to the caliper. It is the hard steel tubing that connects thru a fitting the brake hose on one end and the caliper on the other. You can see it here in a pic Cebby posted. It is the line that is connected to the caliper, and has the black plastic covering half way up it. Any help as to where I might be able to obtain a new line?
Also when I replace the line and the caliper, should I bleed all 4 brakes? I caped the broken line, to minimize fluid loss.
Thanks,
Brad

You will probably have to get another line from a boneyard. The dealer may carry such an item but not a parts store. A parts store will carry straight line in various lengths that can be bent up to fit but no pre-bent pieces.
As a rule you should always bleed all the brakes whenever you break the system integrity. In this case, the rears won't take much but you should still do them.
