Heated Power seats

Ok I have a SR5 and I will be swapping in some low mileage Limited seats and want to know what I will need to get the heat and power working. I assume if the relays don't come with what I'm buying I can make a harness rather easy for both the power option and the heat. Did the factory option use seperate toggle switches or ....

Which limited heated seats are these? Mine aren't heated...

edit: nm, 01/02? I wish they made seat coolers..leather sucks when it's 111 here . I put limited seats in my tacoma, and the power was already run under the carpet, I just had to plug it in.

Heck if I know, they might not even be power, but they are in great condition. It's a craiglist purchase that will likely take some time before I get the seats but I have seen pictures. and they are heated and claim to have power.

so that means the driver would have to control the passenger seat too? That doesn't make sense.

Bringing this back around to the main point of the thread anyone know how to go about making a wiring harness or am I just going to have to do it myself? I assume the electronics will be mounted on the seats and power is to be supplied to that, this is of course using Toyota's logic and not my own.

I am following along cause I like the idea myself and have a line on a couple of seats here locally. I don't know the answers to all your questions but I am thinking you will need to get switches for the heat and you may want to put them in a different location, like around the center console.

You should be able to just run a fused power wire in addition for the seat functions. As I understand it the passenger seat is not powered, other than for heat.

Perhaps 01-02 Limited owners would chime in here....

Check out my company's install at private residence Jupiter Island-famous singer-we build waterparks-you can probably figure it out. Private m me if you need more clues.

Lastly why would you want heated seats in FL? Just curious-

You probably are looking at the same seats that I am given your location. Heat in FL, no of course not but this 2002 didn't get 221K on it by driving around down here. Besides within th3 next few years we will be venturing up the east coast then across Canada. Not to mention our mountain get a ways in the winter, leather is coooold. Water park huh? I'm guessin good ole Celine but I could be wrong.
