Yup, vernon Hills is a rather wealthy community. I live about 10 miles north and there are a lot of rich kids driving new vehicles all over that area. Prob. b.s., but gametom is right, people from that 'burb have cash. Hmm, maybe i'll crusie the high school parking lot with a for sale sign on my '01 runner and see if I can rip off some idiot kid.

 

alright... honestly guys, i love my 4runner to death, plan on keeping it forever... yada yada... i figure my 02 sr5 in pretty good shape (no rust, custom forest pinstripe's...) it has 126k miles on her.... been offroading since mile 8...

its worth roughly 12,500 so if someone offered me even 18,000 i would take it in a heartbeat! no questions asked, i wouldnt even care if he just wanted to blow it up...

Yeah, i was thinking that $19 for an 02 was kinda high. As said you can get another one for about $13 - $15k this time and you will have so much left over you really could get another 4runner for a trail rig of just make the next one even better and STILL come out ahead. I mean it would be the dream of most of the guys on here to have 30K to spend on a truck with no rules and and all cash. Just think about what you can do!

 

even better... with 30k... you could buy TWO 4runners, do all your chrome stuff to one, and lift the other one... i say do it!

 

not inadvertantly trying to advertise my thread but sometimes i don't get this site (read: yotatech) i worked my butt off this past weekend on my truck, post it up for everyone to share and i get only a few hits. not to mention trying to provide first hand info for a brand new coil that anyone has yet to hear about for 3rd gens. then some myspace turd 'says' he'll pay 30k for a truck and this thread blows up, what gives?

Don't take it personal. It is more that getting offered 30K for out trucks is something that all of just wish we would haev happen and just HAVE to check it out.

30K for a 4Runner is a lot of dough, I doubt if that is real. It is possible, though. Stranger things have happened.

I dunno I didn't expect this thread to blow up like it did, I was just looking for helpful advice on what I should do. I'm still uncertain as to what I should do because I love my 4Runner so much.. and I'm not even sure this kid is serious.

It's about halfway down...1st page still at least . i admit it was a stupid title, but like i said i created it while i was killing time waiting for halo. anyways, the main thing was the coils that can pretty much level out the lc's in the rear without being considerably rougher on your cv's angles. not asking for replies or 'good job, son!' just thought this was a huge discovery for those interested and.....oh well f*** it
