Group buy and sale info!!

All right, as some of you know I am now working at 4wheel Parts in Parma (Cleveland), Ohio. So here is the deal...

1) I need to know what you guys are interested in as far as a group buy goes. I need some ideas to pitch my boss and see what kinda a deal we can work out for everybody. I do know that it will not be vehicle specific. Example, if 8 people want to do a group buy on ARB bumpers they can be a mix of gens and trucks or SUVs. It will need to be the same model, but applications can differ. So post some ideas as to what you guys would like to see and the most common ones I will pitch my boss and see what kind of deal I can work out for us.

2) This October we are having a big sale. The one thing that I do know is that they are going to run the Pro Comp buy 3 get 1 free tire deal. They will also probably have some kinda wheel deal too. Beyond that I am not too sure. As soon as I know I will let you guys know.

3) Since there have been complaints about customer service and such let me take care of you guys and I will make sure you get the right stuff. What you can do is PM me with what you are interested in and a phone # and I will work up a quote and get back with you. Then if you want to go with it I will have all the prices worked up and get it dropped shipped to you house or whatever. If you are in the area I can get it delivered to the store and you can pick it up when you can. If you want to work up something during the day give me a call at the store 9 - 6 eastern time.

Paul Rutila 216-267-6668

The quote and working with you guys does not just pertain to the sale. Call me anytime and I will take care of you. We also have more stuff than what is listed online. I am still learning the catalog so give me a call and I will see if I can get it.

Gotta question....I noticed the new Mickey Thompson Baja Crushers are listed on the site but no price or tire size info?? Know of a price range for these? Its good to know that someone works there with some knowledge...they really misled me in Jacksonville, FL when I lived there. As long as you can retain outstanding customer service like the guys at Toyota of Dallas then the business will prosper! Keep up the good work..

I need to know what you guys are interested in as far as a group buy goes?

We had this offered once by "XtremeOff-Road" but he never followed through with his group buy idea even though there have been many replies that he has yet responded to. Excuses get old.

So i will say the same as most everyone else did on THIS THREAD

1) Synthetic winch line.
2) Lightforce lights (or some other brand).

I'm ready to buy.

You know you don't have to wait for a vendor to set up a group buy. Contact some vendors on your own and see what you can set up. I set up a group buy on synthetic winch lines last year, and everyone was happy. Contact rockstopmper and see if they can set something up for you.

With 10,000+ members we have a large untapped buyer power.

He is right. Since I am working there right now I can try and kill a couple birds with one stone.
1) Improve the company's image with Yotatech since we do have a large memeber roster.
2) By doing this it will make me look good in the company since #3
3) If I get you guys deals that you want, customer service that you deserve, and I get to advance myself in the company then we will all be happy.

So with that being said I will look into getting something setup with the synthetic winch line and lights. I will look at some other things too, but I would really like to know what you guys want to see/buy. Give me some ideas, wish lists, or whatever and I will see what I can do.

Callmej75, I will look into the tires and PM you as soon as I can get back online.

How about a group buy for Hi-Lifts? Something pretty necessary for wheelin' and I don't have one yet. However, I would like to buy one before I head out to AB in Oct. Anyone else?

If i had the time, patience, and position then i would and in fact I have done it already (BCC) but being a "middleman" is'nt always best let alone easy. My only point was if somebody is going to offer a group buy then follow though with it rather than waste peoples time. Just a little preventative measure so to speak

Paul, I believe you will get something together and it's cool what your trying to accomplish with the company. You can also put me down for a Hi-Lift jack.

if I can make a suggestion guys. Hi-lift is heavy and cost like $45, there is hardly any profit margin on them, in addition shipping it, would double the price. It's easier to buy the hi-lift locally. As far as tow straps and D rings, individually it wouldn't work, but a recovery kit with multiple straps, rings, gloves, etc would be something that 4wp can give substantial discounts on, and has done in the past.

group buys work with higher priced item where there is a little more profit margin. Where by cutting the individual is ok b/c your selling in high volume.

Northern Tool sells Hi-Lifts. I believe they are located everywhere. They also sell tow straps, d-rings, and Rmasey winches. FWIW there prices are very reasonable too.

Like Sdastg1 said, you want something you can get a discount on--lights, OBA....

All right guys here we go. I got the okay so far on some stuff and I am still checking out the others. The high lift jack would not be something that would really be beneficial to you guys buying from me due to the shipping costs. Howver, let me point out something that I found out that is very interesting. If you call a store and order stuff versus calling the 800 number you actually save money since the 800# charges you more for shipping and some other stuff. At the store level the shipping is no where near what the 800# charges and all the other B.S. charges aren't in there either. Just and F.Y.I. Anyhow, onto the group buys that are setup right now.

Here is how it needs to work:
1) If you are Seriously wanting to participate in something place a quick post of what you want (so other people can see the number interested) and then shoot me a PM with your:
-Full name
-Billing address
-Shipping address if different
-Daytime # and cell if you have one
-What you are wanting.
This way I can put it into the system as a quote so the price will be locked from increasing and when the requiste # of people are ready then I will call you all and get the payment info and finish the deal. I will leave it up to the people interested to tell me whether they want to go with the 5 person deal or wait for the 10 person deal. Also I do have some play with the # of people needed for hte group buy, but for now stick with 5 and 10. Also for each catagory there needs to be 5 or 10 people total it does not matter what vehicle for the vehicle specific items. Here is the group buys set up right now not including shipping (figure $20 max though) unless stated:
