Good Woofers

What are some good woofers that I could put in place of the old ones to give it a little more rumble without rumbling some serious dough out of my wallet? I like the stock stereo/CD system it has...I would just like a little more sub to work with...

Any ideas would be appreciated, no rush really. I am just trying to get ideas of things to add later down the road. I don't have much $ to spend in the way of accessories right yet. Just got the thing 3 days ago...so I have some time!

Hehe not that this helps any, but I had 2 Kicker 15"ers in back of my '94 Runner. That'll make you rumble from down the street! My friends always told me they knew when I was coming..

JL Audio all the way, but they aren't cheap.

I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend.

I bought two 2003 Kicker Comp C12's for $106 shipped. Then I bought a dual 12's box with 1.25 cu.ft./chamber, 3/4" MDF, and gold plated connectors for $40 shipped to my door. So I got my new subs and new box for $146. I bought all my stuff off Ebay.

If you buy anything off Ebay, make sure it is brand new in the box.

Look around, you'll find something priced right.

Like AgRunner said it all depends on the $$$$ you have to spend, and also what kind of "rumble" your looking for. My personal preferance would be JL, Xtant, and Eclipse...But there are a ton of mildly priced woofers that are good. Best recommedation would be to go to your local audio joint and bring some of your own music and check some out till you find what you like the best...

I run one 15" JL W6, and it rocks my world.

Todd's heard that monster up close, especially on our last trip in April.
With one 15 back there, when I turn up a song that has some good bass in it, my seats feel like they are actually moving in the tracks.
You can imagine the spine tingling sensation of a back massage I get also from it.

The best part is it's not that loud outside of the rig like a car is with their subs in the trunk.
The bass stays inside my rig for some reason, unless I put the rear window down.

I now have a Van Halen's greatest hits CD, and when "Running from the devil" is playing, it sounds awesome.
Especially the parts were the bass guitar and bass drum both crescendo at the same time.
