Going to buy a new 03 Tacoma 4x4 extra cab Sr5 in the near future.My ? is has anyone bought one recently and how much did you pay,what options.(if you don't mind me asking)

 

A guy that works for me bought a 2003 Double Cab Tacoma for $25,022.00 dollars. That's including title, tax, and tag. He bought it from Pennsylvania this week end. The truck has a mystic gold metallic paint, running board, bed extender, bed liner, 4x4, rear diff lock, 3.4 V6, and all items listed on option two available on toyota.com site. If you go to the toy site and try to "build your own" tacoma, then add option two and the price will be around $27,500.00 dollars. I think he huggled with the sales manager and he got it for that price. You are supposed to take at least 2K dollars off the sticker price anyway when you negotiate for a new ride. That is what I always do whenever I'm in the market for a new rig. Check the toy site and see if you can build your own to get the price you want.

I checked all those sites and they laughed at me when I offered them $2000 below sticker($21,436). The best I could get was $19,999 for a 4 cyl, SR5 chrome ,$570 tire upgrade no power windows,cruise control, not that I want that power stuff anyways but come on. They took $1400 off and I had to practally get on my knees for that.One local dealer gave me that price and said that included the $1000 rebate.
