Gauges in!
Hi there!
Eventually finished wiring up my indiglo gauges today along with my new fog lights. Had the main wiring done on the lights on Thursday, but i thought seeing a sboth indiglos and fog switch had to be connected to the side lights i'd finish them both together and tap both into the same line behind the speedo. Had a bit of trouble with the gauges. The hole in the centre wasnt big enough for the needle centre so i had to grind it out with a little drum sander att on my drill. And the speedo needle dropped well below zero and took a while to set back to zero. Other than that i'm a happy bunny now. Felt good when it was done, so i STP'd the inside and had a barbeque. MMMM Chicken!

Now i want a light rack up above and............................

Ok so you had the "hole-is-too-small-problem" as well? (roflmao...hehehe)
Do you know what grit was on the sanding drum off the top of your head? If not, no biggie I'll try something with my rotozip at low speed and a drum...
Glad you like em! You cant have a BBQ without at LEAST a keg of brew, please tell me you had that too!

I just had a few cans of Miller. The cheapy silver cans! It was such a lovely day out, my beloved and i just decided to have one. Soryy, no keg!
The grit on the sandpaper wasnt very fine, but it was all i could find on a Sunday. It did the job though. Just held the drill in my lap and moved the gauge around it. Slipped over the needle no probs then. It also converted my speedo to mph as being an import, it was in Kph. Also the rev counter goes up to 8000 and mine only went up to 6000 being a diesel, but i couldnt care less, i never looked at it anyway, after i got used ot the sound of the engine!
