From what I understand according to these threads are that it depends on the gearing. With a 4cyl regearing is a must when bumping up the size, with a 6cyl it's not a dramatic of a power/gas mileage loss.

I'm averaging 18.5 mpg with my 88 4Runner V6 5 spd with 32's and stock gearing. I have a 2-1/4" cat-back exhaust which probably helps though. 33's might not be too much of a difference but 35's will definitely start to hurt. 35's and a 4 cyl will almost definitely need a gear change.

I would guess it's 2wd then...
T750- Typically in a stock 4x4 truck there is about 3 mpg difference between the 4 and the 6 - depending entirely on driving style. With 33s and especially 35s with stock gears it REALLLLY depends on driving style.

i usually get around 17 or 18 in the city, depending on how i drive, haven't taken it on a long drive so that i don't know. i have gotten a few back to back takes that pushes me into the 20-23 range

Just got back from a 600 mile trip in my Tacoma 2001 Enten. cab 4x4 , 2.7, Step side SR5 with factory 31" tires and 456 gears hauling (500 lbs) 300 lbs. of tools and my 200 lbs. Driving on freeway and city combined I got 21 mpg. Without all the extra weight I would guess that it would be close to 23 mpg.
Off road and city driving in these mountains I get about 18-19 depending on how much I use my 4 WD.
