I am bringing this pic back from a previous post of mine..it seem that mine have 7 turns, as well, and they are from a 97 with 140K.

For LX rear coil and LC rear coil measurements you guys can search for my previous posts about cruiser coils for my 2nd gen. I think I've found that the flat wire bottom of the LC coils makes a difference in ride height.

Is there a difference in thickness between the stock 4runner coils and the FJ80's? Are the 80's any thicker or exactly the same thickness. I'm just tryint judge how much stiffer they are, if any.

Chris-
I don't think the wire is different b/w the stock 4runner coils and the Cruiser coils. Look at my pic above. Its been so long since I've had stock coils, I can't remember how stiff they rode compared to the cruiser coils, but I'd guess they are pretty close to each other. These are certainly softer than OME 891's...

Has anyone come up with a pattern or a guideline to go by for which you could judge what type of lift you will get from a given year/mileage of spring? Im trying to do this lift, but I dont want the headache of too much lift like some of yall are having/had.

P.S. I just want to know the model number for the longer one, so I can just get 2 of the 8 wrap ones, since my tank is in the spare tire location now.
