Ya, I know. I have SAW's up front (2.5" lift) with a TJM T15. Rear has the stock bumper with a spare 285/75 w/ no tow hitch. I'm gonna drive it for a week and see if they settle any. Hope so. If not, I guess they'll come off.

From the center of my rear axle to the flare lip is 25". Take away 1" for my BL and you get 24". What did you get?

I have done that, although IMO they are still a little short with the FJ80's.

When are you gonna make US some longer links Jayson ?

I measured 27". Take away for the 2" body lift and I have 25". So an inch more than you. Right at 4.25". Pretty much what I had come up with innitially. I don't think they will settle another inch so I'm probably gonna try another set. Thanks Jim.

I picked them up used. Not sure how many miles or from which year vehicle they were out of.

I appreciate you verifying as well. I thought I had just over 3".

i'd say drive around on them a little, maybe even take them wheeling and see if they settle. i know mine FJ coils settled about a half inch (but they're fj rear coils)

I put mine in tonight and I got 3.75" of lift from where I stood with my Downey Coils in. And thats with my 130lbs. steel rear bumper. I lost about an inch when I originally put on the rear bumper (about a month ago) - so that still put me at about 2.75 inches above where I was or wanted ot be. Way too much. I installed these in the garage and scraped my roof rack on the garage door getting out. Too much for me. So I had some 3" revtek spacers laying around. I said what the hell and put those in back with my Downeys. that lifted me about 2.75" so I'm gonna test that out tomorrow on the trail. But I don't think that's my final solution.

John

This seems like a hit or miss thing...

We should track what years and how many miles are on these.

i agree, i searched around on ih8mud and found things such as this (http://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php...6&postcount=10) which shows not all the front coils were the same 91-97.

so if you know it, post year, mileage, and lift amount. hopefully there will be a pattern.

Here's a couple of pics. I'll see if Adrian knows which year the coils came from. Right now, the rear sits 2.5" higher than the front and the front is at 2.5" of lift. I'd love to keep the LC coils in, but as it sits currently, it's just too much lift in the rear. Jim, do you know what year your coils were from?

Weeks later, I finally got some new pics over the weekend:

I am still running just the tundra coils up front at just under 2.5 inches of lift. My measurement in the rear from wheel-center to fender (bottom of the ~1/8" thick Bushwacker extenda-flare) is 24.25", so I am still at 3.5 inches of lift in the rear, more or less. I still like the ride and ride heigth, and I don't mind the bit of rake I have front to back.

Oh yeah, my coils came from a '97 with about 145K miles, I think...

Man, these coils may have too much lift for me. I hope everyone will post up their findings. Bamachem, have yours installed yet?

My measurements now:

Rear: OME 891's, OME HD shocks, heavy rear bumper, heavy rear cargobox

23.5" wheel center to fender lip, take away for 1" bodylift and it is
22.5" and sits level with the front

It is still raked...but I will adjust the front to level it out a bit. I have a message into the guy I got my coils from to see what year and how many miles.

The top-outs made about a half an inch difference, but like I said, there was too much angle on my CV's. Down the road if I add a new front bumper and winch, then I may put them back in...
