My problem is the rear is about .75-1.0" lower than the front even with 1.5" spacers. This used to not be a problem with my cross-linked air shocks w/ no spacers but since switching to Billies hauling stuff just sucks.
I don't know if those FZJ80 coils would be too much, as I am trying to avoid spacers in the rear.
After installing front setup mentioned above, I kept the rear air shocks for a while and the truck sat level with a slight rake at 90 psi in the shocks. That was ideal as I like to often haul things. They rode like crap, though(hence the swap to Billies).
Any help or comments would be much appreciated.

Your Taco would require a major conversion to run coils in the rear. Buy a new set of leafs and forget about it.

I was wondering if anyone had tried to use the stock Land cruiser shocks with this setup on a 4 runner? I'm looking into getting this setup and they are a lot cheaper at 30$ a piece than the OME N86's
Found the answer myself, maybe doin a little bit too luch reading...starting to miss things

I need everyone's opinion on the LC coils. I've got dibs on a set from a '95. They're 19" long and 9 wraps. How much is this going to lift the rear. I've currently got stock springs with 2-1/2 Daystar spacers. I need another 1-1.5 inches to level things out. Are these springs gonna be too much?

Bump for new info. The guy I'm buying them from said not to look at the number of wraps, but at the spring length instead????? I know much of this thread deals with the number of wraps, but I'm interested in knowing the spring length too. Thanks!

easiest way is to just look at color codes...here's what you're looking for:
Toyota FZJ-80 Land Cruiser Coil: Right Side - Double Purple + Gray + White goes on the passenger side
Toyota FZJ-80 Land Cruiser Coil: Left Side - Green + Orange + White goes on driver side

Are you looking for 6.5" of rear lift?

yeah that would be awsome! i wonder if the tundra coils in the front would work to help match up the height of the rear. it would not have to be very functional, mainly for looks, since my runner is 2wd, i would love to run 315's

The only way to get that much lift in the front is to run a drop bracket lift like Trailmaster or such. You don't need 6" to run 315's on a 4wd, but I'm not up on the 2wd lifts-maybe someone else will chime in.

Just thought I would revive an old thread since I just ordered a set of LC coils today. I will try to get them on ASAP. I hope it doesn't give me too much lift with the Revtek spacers up front.

Here's my '02 SR5 with LC coils in the rear. BTW, it's got a Daystar 2.5" spacer lift up front. The LC coils gave me about 4" of lift when I started, but have since settled about .5" or so. The coils were new.
The rake is acceptable to me and I've had many comments on how great it looks now.
