FZJ80 coils and taco elocker compatibility
It's a 2nd gen 4runner. 4wd. 1995.
I can get front and rear coils from an FZJ80. Will these work to get a little lift? I know the fronts will work for about 3" in the rears of 3rd gens, but what about 2nd gens.
Second question: Let's say I found a factory e-locker out of a tacoma, or even a 3rd gen 4 runner. Would a locked 3rd member drop right in the unlocked 2nd gen housing? The drain plug is on the other side if its locked, but is anything else different that would prevent it from working?
I know, flame flame shame shame, but I didnt find much of anything by searching and I'm a jeep guy, this is for a buddy.
