Cool

Good job guys!...looks great
I suggest you do the "pulley plate mod" mentioned on Gadget's site , it will support the nose of the supercharger. I did mine when I installed the tensioner (my s/c did not come with it originally 2 yrs. ago  )
I'll post pics when I get a chance..

Looks really good, mine sure could use that, maybe one of these weekends. I got mud splashed up in there from a massive puddle last week..

Oh my god you guys are driving me crazy with all your SC installs.
I've got serious SC envy.
I always said, "I don't need a SC", but I also thought Id never see a TRD SC go for $1700 either.
Fight the urge Mike. Opps, Im married. She'll fight the urge for me. lol

Looks great guys.

This is great! You guys went bonkers for those $1700 superchargers. I paid a bit more than that for mine, but I'm not upset about it.

I'm glad that they became more affordable. The first time I drove my truck after I installed the supercharger, I swore that everyone should own one. Does anything sound better than that supercharger whining from under your hood?

hey,

i have a '99 limited runner approaching 75K miles. Would adding the TRD SC cause any problems you think? As I look at all your instals their fairly newer and was wondering if i would see any problems installing one on mine. Also, where is the cheapest place i can find one? Thanks!

Yes, the sound of "laying a patch" with my 265/75/16 tires!!!

Best install I have ever done!!

orangeman_85: My 4Runner is a 1997 and has 62,000 miles on it. Your engine is still basically new at 75,000 miles, there are a few people on this board that installed S/C's on their engines with 90K+. I say go for it. Sterling motorsports has them for $1,700 + shipping, mine came to $1730 shipped www.sterlingmotorsports.com Toyota of Concord has them for $1,750 + shipping www.toyotaparts4u.com

I have bought parts off both these dealers, and they are reliable.

Man you guys are making it harder and harder to walk away from the idea of the idea of slapping one of these under my hood! :pat: I have a 99 Limited as well wit just over 61K, and now I'm reading that the engine is still NEW?!?!?! Well you only have to tell me once, and with that said the list of mods continues to grow!

Thanks All,
Outkast`
