Amsoil Air Filter
Where might I purchase a Amsoil Air Filter for my 96 4Runner with the 3.4 V6? How much does it cost and will it improve performance with the stock airbox in palce

buy a true flow air filter http://www.vehiclefx.com/index.asp?P...ROD&ProdID=706 air filters dont make power if thats what you want.... do the deckplate mod wich is the best $10 dollars i ever spent also adding a new intake tube helps if your lookin to do that buy this one and dont use the filter http://store.racinglab.com/kyo-ka-55-0971.html

When you replace the air filter, the best things you can do is clean your MAF sensor and thottle body.
You can also purchase a Airaid MIT intake tube for about $90
The deckplate mod is nice but plan on cleaning your filter more often.
Last but not least, don't forget to reset your ECU.

Made a HUGE difference. I didn't do the deckplate mod because i have something else (custom) that i'm doing in place of it.
