yeah ive ordered two things from them an amp and a set of infinity kappa 62.5i

the amp the sent me was defective not there fault, it had a strange probelm that wouldnt have been found by just hooking it up at a station. The remote lead was crossed with the power internally. I mailed them back the amp and i had a new one a week later.

I give to thumbs up to MB Quarts.. Ive got a set of The PSC 6-1/2's in the factory location with a spacer like impulsebrklyn made. I had to cut a hole in the door panel for the tweeters since the taco's dont have anything for them...I used brown bread on the inside of the doors and they will just get ungodly loud.

Alright, it has come down to two choices for the front component set...either the MBQuart DSD 216 or either Infinity Kappa 60.5cs or Infinity Reference 605CS (depending on how much i want to spend)...so basically I want to see if anyone has recommendations for one over the other or either would be good...i am looking to get the phoenix gold t600.4 amp (75x4) and i think that should be fine for those speakers then for the back door i want the infinity kappa 62.5i's....just lookin for some feedback or reviews...i know they are all good speakers, but any input is appreciated...thanks alot

lives4swell i love the infinity speakers I had 4 5x7 kappa's in my last vehicle and i loved them. I sent 100 watts to each and they lasted the 3 years i had them no problem. And no i have them in the rear in my new 4runner. And there warranty is great especially from www.thezeb.com it breaks they send you a NEW one. Ive never heard the reference but the kappas are amzing for the money.

How much you getting the pheonix gold amp for I bet I know how to get it cheaper for you with warranty. WHere from too? You know how to install yourslef. Cause car audio places will ripe you off. Chris

ok here I did myself alittle research for you now this is what you do. You do a price match online with www.sounddomain.com they are fully authorized for pheonix gold. Price match it to this site for a price of Our Price: $312.99. http://www.purecaraudio.com
thats how i got my tantrum 500.2 for under 300. if they dont like that site I have some other sites that are low. Chris

ok, thanks for the info...i will look at those websites...i saw the t600.4 for $379 with free shipping from onlinecarstereo.com...but you saw it for significantly cheaper...i know how to do all the installation, have done it on previous cars, but i like the clean/nice installs of audio places and since my car was new, i wanted it done nice (lol)...there is a local place i have dealt with...let me know if this sounds expensive...i had this place install my amp and subs already in a bandpass in my 4runner for $120 total...including wiring...is that a ripoff? I wasnt really sure, i just wanted to get that done quick and didnt have the time, so did it...i dont know what it will cost for installation of a deck and speakers but if that price was a ripoff i wont have them do it. Thanks for the help

I think i am gonna go with all Infinity Kappas, front and back doors

do i think its a ripe off for a normail everyday person no not really, if you dont have the time i guess its worth it. But you also have to know when you get a car audio place to install stuff they dont use anything of any quality. Crappy usually to small power wire, cheapo 5 dollar rca (if the rcas suck then your sound quality is already diminishing before it even gets to the amp) etc. You should have just gotten them to install the amp cause putting the box in doesnt take a cent of brain power. So yeah its expensive.

Installation of a deck will run around 60 plus (they dont use harnesses in my experice so they mangel up your factroy wiring)dollars speakers run like 45 plus a set. But for that price they use the factory speaker wire which is not a good idea in my mind. I dont want to be running alot of power through 16-18 guage wire through harness etc.

I like to do things myslef cause thats the only time you get anything done correctly.

Oh when you buy things its important to look for warranties!!!!

Installation of car audio does not take much its not hard but does take time. Here are some small explanations of what need to be done for each
Amplifier, run a power from the battery to the amp. Hardest part removing panels and hiding wire. Then you need to run a ground to the chassis. Back seat bolts are most common and you run a rca and remote lead from head unit. Thats done. no hard see doesnt take much.
Head unit get your self a wireing harness are best buy something like 15 bucks at most and installation kit like another 15. take the center console apart and hook up the harness to the head unit harness. Explained in the head units manual. EASY
Speakers take more time and is explained well in this topic

Now does this seem like its worth spending a few hundred dollars on???????

I haven't read all the posts yet, as I'm one foot out the door, but if you buy online, get SoundDomain to match the cheapest price you can find, that way you'll actually get a warrenty and customer support. It's WELL worth the extra trouble - but dont pay retail if you are online.

there new and I have no idea to really tell you

www.ikesound.com has them for 435 I would pruchase it from them if your interested. Shipping is free. I have that head unit myself you might want to look into the 9815 there new headunit it suppose to be really nice.

lives4well here are all the pdfs you need to take apart the dash, its easy just go slow and easy you you dont scratch anything. The control panel below the headunit with the radio and climate control marks very easily so be careful.
