Front end pop

If the link I posted says 1997 at the top of the page, I found that page while "my vehicle" was listed as a '99. If you start at the autopartswarehouse.com home page and put in a "99 Toyota 4runner" and then go to "sus. and brakes" and then find "sway bars" and then "bushings" it will bring you to the same page/part. Make sure you aren't looking at the rear bushings.

Man, thanks SO much for your help man, I guess I should have looked a bit harder, but thanks again! I'm going to order the Energy ones right now, the ones with the grease port in them so I can grease them with some waterproof grease every once and a while.

Sweet! I just realized that my s/b bushings came w/ end link bushings too. Here they are, sitting in the box. I forgot that I decided not to use those when I did my s/b bushings because I had replaced the entire links a couple years before and they still looked good at the time, but they're getting pretty ugly now. Score!
You should be getting a total of 6 poly bushings - (2) large (4) small and, and 4 conical washers for the small ones - all included in part # 8.5118G. "It's getting better all the time"

i was reading up on this thread and feel i have a similar problem except my truck has a audible pop i can feel in the brake pedal when slowing from pretty much any speed. it doesn't pop when i turn or anything like that which makes me curious. it just started doing the popping after i had new shock absorbers installed. should i go about checking all the same items that were referenced in the previous replies or does anyone have anything new to contribute since my popping only occurs during braking to a complete stop.

Ive also been having a problem with my steering, normally in every vehicle I have driven when you go around a turn, after you are done with the turn and want the steering wheel to return to the straight position you can just let go of the wheel and let it "whip" around to its original position. My steering wheel has been rather sluggish and wont whip back to straight, do you think it could be from the bushings being bad?
Another thing, does anyone know what diameter the front sway bar is on a 99 4x4 SR5 4runner?

ORIG POSTER:
Mine was making a pop sound like that for the longest and everthing was fine. still kept doing it. i went to swap out the battery and the radiator overflow container came off the bracket. popped it back in and SILENCE!!! worth a try!
