Front end noise
I have a 94 4x4 pickup with some front end noise between 30 and 45 mph that seems to be coming from the front passenger wheel. Kind of sounds like when you go over the small speed bumps right before a stop sign. A whoomp, whoomp, whoomp sound but no real vibration. I thought it was the old tires, so I bought new ones, the problem still exist. The manual hub doesn't quiet go into the lock position could the hub need re-built? I also put on a brand new rotor, caliper and set of pads. The only thing I can think of is the hub or bearings. Any one else have this problem before or have any suggestions?

Look at the hub noise posting, https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/hub-noise-27867/. I have a similar problem, but it feels like I have some vibration. It stops after I hit 50mph.

Check your tie rod ends and ball joints. I get a small clunking sound from the front passenger side when i just about come to a complete stop. When I wiggled the front tire i get that same noise and have alot of slop in the front end.

Yea I saw that thread, I was kind of thinking that the front bearing might have some problems with it. I had a local mechanic do my brake job to pass inspection. I guess I'll check my tirerods and easier parts before I decide to tear it down and get it fixed.
Thanks,
Jason
