Front CV axles

96 4X4 4Runner

Are the OEM CV axles any better than NAPA's replacement??

The people at my Toyota dealer seem to think so.

I have no complaints with the Napa CV Axles I bought for my 2000 Tacoma I went with new ones instead of rebuilt.

The new boot kits from Toyota are another option if it is just the Boots torn .

Better, probably yes. Better bang:buck probably no. I haven't had a problem with aftermarket ones or junk yard ones. If you were wheeling it regularly it might pay off to check out some options.

The 96 4X4 I have is stock height. The boots started sling grease, so we re
placed the clamps, no noise but I know that it will come to my attention in the near future.
