Frickin' guy cut me off today...
Video 11mb
Video 8mb
This guy in a Camry cut me off on the freeway and then gave ME the finger! I followed him to his house and waited until he went inside then I smashed his windshield with a bat and and ramped his car. That'll teach him to mess with a 4Runner.

I use to have "car ramps" back in the day to. They are for cars but in your case so you can get up on that car. Someday when your Runner gets all grown up it might be able to just drive up on a car without ramps. Plus you guys were gutsy to do that so close to that classic Camaro. Oh and by the way nice lay sitting in the bottom left of the pic. Sometimes I wonder!:pat:

It looked like the pic was cropped at first but the shadows all line up. I think being there is very little damage to the bumper and NO damage to the Runner they used a repair ramp. Someone got bored, thats all ive got to say!

.......almost wet myself laughing.
That was awesome.....wish I could find a ramp like that to test mine out on too.
Do tell where those air inlets came from......make em yourself?
Are they fully functional? Let's see some pics!

Elford Air Scoops
The air scoops are made by Elford Japan, I have 1.5" hose going from each scoop to the air box. They don't supply ram air just cooler air for the supercharger. Contact Jason B and he should be able to order them, I don't remember the how much they cost but they are pricey. Someone good with fiberglass should be able to make them easily.

Yes I have a 4.70 Marlin Crawler in the 4Runner now. I spent some time at Marlins shop this summer and we engineered a way to position all of the levers in the factory shift boot, solving the shifting dilemna with the handbrake and eliminating the need to cut any holes in the floorboard. Just for kicks we decieded to add a push button 4WD motor and shift fork from a '97 LTD 4Runner transfer case Marlin had at his shop. A cable shift kit similar to the Downey cable conversion for the e-locker could replace the push button motor if desired. The motor for the e-locker and LTD transfer case are essentially the same. Now that all the problems installing a crawler have been solved installing one in a 3rd generation 4Runner should be a lot more attractive.
