Free Dunlops!!!!
OK, so I'm taking the plunge and getting my Revo's this week. I am ordering and should have it this week. I will be fitting it at Amrerica's tire in Gilroy CA.
So now to the heading of the thread, the Dunlops will be coming off. It has 19K miles on it and still looks pretty good. I will also be changing the spare which has done 0 miles. SO if you are in the Bay Area and come by Gilroy sometime this week let me know and you can get my old Dunlops AT 20 for free. No sense in giving it to a store when a fellow Toy owner might use them. The size is 265/65/17, so if you have truck that you also use as a daily driver you might want to get the Dunlops for everyday use and use more agressive wheels and tires when you go on trails.
I am too lazy to keep two sets of wheels for my Runner.
So again 5 265/65/17 Dunlop AT 20's with 1 at 0 miles and 4 at 19k miles.
This week in Gilroy CA. FREE!!! I will be doing it at America's Tire in Gilroy. I will finalize with them tomorrow for when I will get my Revo's, so let me know quickly.

Well, the fun part is, looks like some of us DFW'ers will be getting together to go wheeling soon, so that should help me put a few more miles on it.
And, I don't plan on selling it ... maybe the wheels and tires eventually, but this rig is my baby now.

damn you guys are fast I already have the dunlops and so far their OK tires don't know if I would want another set but I also live in NY sooooooo, how is the wear on the outside edges of the tires, mine still have good tread after 15k but the outsides edges are worn from cornering I guess

The wear on mine is still pretty good, the edges are fine. I dont drag race my Runner I'll post pic of tires. But shipping to NY will prob cost more than they are worth.
timber, I'm going for 265/70/17 (32"). I dont want ewnything too big or agressive as it will mostly be used on the road. Just need to fill the fenders a bit and get far better traction off road than with the Dunlops. Hope I dont loose anything on road, but from what I have heard and read I should be fine.

I am thinking about 275s instead. There is not a sig diff between the two, but the amount of rubbing will prob be less. Plus, I may save on gas.

I like the lift, the handling still pretty much feels the same. It does feel a little softer over speedbumps. I noticed the bumpstops seem to work overtime in the front. I tried a few corners hard, and it did show an interesting sign. The rear seem to lean in a bit more than the front, which actually helps to power through a corner. SO when going hard it doesn't seem to have the nose going in any more, which to me is a good thing.
