Looks great guys, sorry I have been out of the loop lately... school is buckling down, and I'm finding less and less time to chill on the net. hey cal, are the other colors going to be as smooth as the red or were those just rough quick color changes? And is there any room for discussion about what font the .com is, b/c I personally really dislike it... Other than that, looks great man! Thanks for taking over .

Krash, the only problem I have with yours are they are too much like the Performance Products Decals...

(This is completely constructive criticism... Please don't take any of this the wrong way, i'm learning how to do this in drawing class... oh... art school... :rolleyes: )

 

heh i didn't even realize that.. plus like i said i was just foolin around combinin logos of what i've seen on here.

What I think we need is some way of pickin a few logos voting on them.. then putting someone in charge of having them made and distributed (i dunno how much they will be but i wanna buy one already). Ignore me if this has been discussed already. My point it yeah making a bunch of logos is great but there is a 50% chance that not everyone is going to be happy with one logo or 100% with one color. I just think we need to get a lil organization into this project not just logo design. Maybe designate someone in charge of this project (if it isn't corey already )

I think that someone wit the ability to post stickys should post another poll like this one started out being. Post the options below, just a few designs,(maybe Krash's,calrockx, and*the one w/ the gears and all*) put those up there and ask which design from there and then have everyone also choose about 3 colo options, take the #1 or #1 and #2 choices for designs, and then take the top 3 color choices put them together and get this thing rolling. I would make the pll but I am completely illiterate when it comes to posting pictures on the forum. .
But I'm really gettting excited about seeing these things done and stuck on my rig. I can just see that spot on my window filled now.

 

NO, NO ROOM FOR CHANGE! haha yeah of course, i'm not a sticker nazi. the font i used is ocr a extended i think. what kind of font did you have in mind? and yeah the others colors will be just as smooth as the gray and red ones, i was just making a couple quick color changes just for show.

yeah ashbars, that's a great design...the thing is, i think it's better suited for a website or a tshirt, something like that, not a car decal. but yeah, it looks cool.

 

It's a simple picture, not many layers at all. That is what the printer for the stickers look for. Shouldn't be hard to print at all...

 

it looks cool Ash. but its gonna cost quite a bit coz of the use of multiple colors, even if is just grey scale. the part with the truck will be the part that costs a lot because of the detail and layers of color. my friend works at a sign co. and i wanted him to make me a vinal sticker, but he said it would cost a lot coz of color. i think a simple designe like calrockx would be great, simple and straight forward. besides, not everyone here has a 4runner. even if his is 2 colors, it wont cost a lot, coz of its simplicity, mine too... the one with the red bars, they just have to cut 2 sections, one with the words, and one with the bars...

So far, I would say that the decal by Arsbars and the last blue one from calrockx are my mosterestes favoritests. Looks awesome!

Okay someone with the yotatech smarts(anyone besides me who still hasn't figured out the pic. under his name thing) needs to make another pol, with all the most recent options we have agreed on as being propable ideas. Then once the design is picked we can sit and argue about color options. **I really need to sit and learn about these picture things sometime **

Why not if you can do it, do it. You could also be known as the newbie that started the poll to get us all the coolest forum decal. I would but I'm the senior member that can't do a dang thing, LOL .

I'd like it to mention Toyota trucks and SUVs though so the car people don't waste their time checking us out.

I don't really care that much. Whatever gets made i'd be 95% likely to buy one, even if I'm not thrilled about the design.

The laws of supply and demand apply here. There is obviously a big demand and no supply. Somone hurry up and make a sticker and make some money in the process. I see nothing wrong with a member making a reasonable profit from the effort to fill this demand. If your sticker sucks no one will buy it, if people like the design you will make some money. What's wrong with a couple of different designs to choose from. We just need someone to take a little risk and invest a little cash to get them made. No risk, no reward. If anyone would actually make something they would likely sell them all.

Are we waiting for one design to get the stamp of approval or something? I think there should be at least 2 choices.

 

I really like the ones you guys have come up with sofar. This one is just a small modification of one that someone earlier showed.

hey! both my favorites rolled into one! taking the red bars from the other makes it just that much longer, to look good in the bottom or top of a window. I like it prolax!
