I've got the 210s and like them a lot. If you offroad a lot I would definatley say to make sure that you seal up the control box. I had the fans go out on me this last weekend at Pismo dunes. The combination of sand and salt air caused sand to get in and stick between some components in the control box which kept the fans from turning on and I overheated. I took the control box apart and cleaned up all the components and it works as good as new now. Once I seal up the box with silicone I don't expect to have any more problems.

I agree with the seal idea. One idea is to get a water-tight box for kayaking. REI carries them. You could encase the control box, drill some holes where needed, and seal the holes off with silcone. Just an idea. The boxes run about $18 at REI.
