I got a couple sets of these wheels a few months ago. the first set werent the greatest, but were all straight. I got quoted about $100/wheel ($cdn) for a prof refinisher to do it on his time (cash job) and that it may take a couple weeks (blast/refinish&paint/clear). his turnaround time is usually 2 days or so. each set was about USD$300/set.
The second set were in much better condition, and those were the ones i kept and sold my original ones to a friend who was planning on getting them refinished, since his ride is newer and cleaner and wont be wheeled as much/hard. Both sets of caps needed refinishing which was fairly straight forward.
The holes on the wheels for the nuts do differ, but i dont know from what year. The factory lug nuts i used off my 98 LTD wheels sit properly in the wheel, but i guess i was suppsoed to have the black ring? *shrug* no problems since i put em on though...
if youre getting em for 2 bills, i would definitely spend the $$ to get em refinished properly, esp if your ride is nice n clean. figure 100/wheel to refinish, and you would have only spent $600 for a set of brand spanking new LC wheels...
