Question Fixed antenna for 4R - searched and now confused?

I want to ditch the power antenna on my 2000 4R due to my wife constantly forgeting to put it down going thru the car wash! I'm sick of replacing the mast!

I have searched quite a bit today...and my local stealer is totally worthless!
Anyway...here is all that I believe I need:

1-Taco Black Mast #86309-AA0400 @ $40.24 dealer quote
1-Base Assembly #86300-35090 @ $50.86 dealer quote

Can one of you guys please confirm that those are the part numbers and only pieces I need? And from what I read in my searches....the prices I was quoted are ridiculously high! Any better place to get them?
Thx

I dont have the exact part numbers but those are the only two parts that u need and all u have to tell them is u want a non-motorized runner antenna and the black taco whip. I did that and bill came out to about $95-100 and it took about an hour to install taking my time.

I have been reading about this whip antenna swap mod for a week or so now since my power antenna broke and does not function now. I think those are the parts you need for the antenna replacement.

However, it is my understanding that to access the motor you will be forced to break the plastic clips holding the wheel well cover up to the body. No big deal as these pop-in connectors are cheap even from the stealer, but I am curious too since I am about to do this mod...Is this true? Do you really have to get new pop-ins due to breaking the old ones? Lets hear some of the experienced talk...

Here is a link that you can locate the assembly and antenna by part number...they were both on there for about $10 cheaper than you said your dealer wants. Check it out...OEM Toyota Parts

OP, does the antenna still have a good mast on it atm? I'll take that and switch off your hands!

Never mind, your a 2000.

OR

I went this route. Diversity antenna is good enough 95% of the time. I rarely raise my antenna now.

I copied this from my Snorkel Write-Up. Tested - it works !!!

- 86300-35090 4Runner non-Motorized Antenna "ANTENNA" (Note - Limited 4Runner Motorized Antenna may not work. I didn't try it, as my was broken, but as envelope is very tight I'd assume it not going to work or it will be very challenge to make it work)
- 86309-AA040 Tacoma Antenna Wip "POLE SUB-ASSY, PULL TOP ANT" (Note - 4Runner non-Motorized Antenna has stainless steel whip, but as many mentioned before and dealership agrees, it's very low performance. Highly recommended to upgrade to Tacoma Wip)
