looks really nice. not to hijack but for all of you guys with bigger tires, is a speedometer recalibration always something you do or do you run the risk? my sister got something slightly larger tires on her montero sport (no lift, just tires), and she was running aobut 5mph over that her speedo said. she got a ticket for it

Check out this webpage. You can punch in the numbers to find out how much she is out.

Most don't do it, but a portable GPS system, like a Garmin, will tell you your exact speed. If you can borrow one, you can know for sure.

After finaly geting my Lift and Bilsteins on all around. I was in hopes of geting some 285's on the first time around, but TireShop dude said" Theres no way you're geting these on" . So today I went out again and went to OK tires. I saw some GoodYear Wrangler MT/R's 285's and I had the dude test fit them and walla they fit . They dont really rub unless I take like a sharp turn over a bump. I plan puting a spacer on all four wheels sometime soon. Over all Im very happy with my 4runner as of now.
My 4Runner before anything.
My 4runner after the lift and with old tires.
My Runner of Four after the lift and new tires.
There ya have it. I plan on doing the front Dif Drop and panhard drop sometime soon. I hear its a must.

How did your cv's hold up with this spacer lift and how was your ride quality?
