Finally posting what ive done! PICS!!
So this dates back to a couple of months ago. My supercharger was making alot of bearing noise, so i ordered the ceramic bearing rebuild kit from rolling performance, along with a 2.0 pulley from URD. while the s/c was off i got it sandblasted and then i polished it up real nice. still not perfect but, itll get there. i took all the paint off because of the intake temps on, the paint retains the latent heat and doesn't disapate well, my intake temps have dropped over 20 degrees F! with the smaller pulley and ceramic bearings i am making 13psi at 5300 elevation!

Then i came across a load of great deals, a brand new TRD cat-back, and a PLX wideband M-300. I already had a APEXi SAF-C II for fuel trim tuning, and the AEM brute force dry filter intake, dynamic tensioner and ground kit. (which is useless, but it was free)
also, my front sway bar broke so i bought a new addco sway bar. it is thick!! handles like a dream now!

Compressor discharge temperature, its the temperature of the air after it is compressed by the supercharger.
Your EGT's are probably too high not because your AFR's are off, but because your CDT is high.

He said he's pushing 13psi of boost at 5300ft asl, which tells me he could have already done some slight damage to his valves and/or pistons. Especially if he's pushing that kind of boost on a warm day with no compressor discharge cooling.

the amount of fuel im running which is 91 octane mixed 70/30 with e85 at my elevation is what is saving me. e85 burns cooler and slowly with the 91. at 7psi i could run 85 with no knock. less air, means it needs less fuel, and less boost. the 2.0 pulley at sea level is probably around 15psi.
everything is great. my intake temps are less now than they were with the stock pulley, so...

Nevertheless, "intake temps" aren't the problem, its the exhaust gas temp that will burn your pistons. Still, it could be running E85 will keep your EGT's low enough to be safe. Do you have an EGT gauge?

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I'm pretty sure the OBDII intake temp is actually from the MAF sensor (which of course is before the SCer).
