Looks good Rob!

When I got my PP springs, I had them installed too. I was too impatient and wanted it done right then. I kinda wish I had done the install myself, but I am happy!!

Those look fine to me. Those shocks are WAY to bright though - how about a mud bath for them?

That's cuz he's a web wheeler!

Just kidding.

Yeah they look OK to me. Nothing compared to when I had my brief encounter with 882's:

Great! From the looks of those pics, it would be good to have someone with a winch along....

Looks great, man. Can't wait until this weekend so mine will finally sit a bit higher.

The plan is for my neighbor (a self-proclaimed wrench-turner) to lend a hand installing my SAWs and OME shocks/coils.

I've downloaded Steve's SAW installation notes, but have come up dry in finding a write-up for the OME rears. If anyone has a link for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Again, great job!

Hmmmm.....a 5 hr. drive. That'd be a nice road trip for Mike and I.

I'd be game too on an exam free weekend hehe.

Tomcat the rears are pretty simple, if you disconnect the lower shock and push down on the axle enough, the spring literally falls right out. Just a little tug will work. As for the shock, as you can see my mechanic had to cut the upper shock because of all the corrosion on the top bolt.

Mike we should bring an Indiana crew along

How's the lift doing?

Rob,

How's the lift doing after having it on a while now and getting an alignment? What have you noticed different in your handling? Still like it?

After letting it settle in, I can notice a big difference. For one, no rubbing on inclined turns

And all the little cracks and potholes in these oh so wonderful michigan streets don't feel like I'm gettin tossed around. More of a car feel on the street. And the front definilty soaks up speed humps a lot better now. The rears are still pretty stiff, that's cuz I took my sub box out, maybe if I put it back in it'll get softer.

Don't really know about turning since I don't really take turns fast.

Haven't tested it off-road yet though. But it looks a lot better sitting in the Toyota parking lot with all the other *lowered* 4Runners

ok after driving over 800 miles I measured the height of everything today

Before:

Rim to Fender Rear: 12"

Rim to Fender Front: 11.5"

After:

Rim to Fender Rear: 15.2"

Rim to Fender Front: 13.5"

So roughly 2" up front and 3" in the rear

Not bad.......I'd rather have 2.5 up front though. Cuz you can see the slant pretty well. Ah well.

My rears settled a little more after flexin' them some offroad. I am at 2.75" of lift, with a very slight lean to the driver's side...that could just be my fat ar$$, though

Get out and flex those thing some before you get the alignment.

Well, it will probably be a few weeks till the 4Runner arrives. Then we'll be moving in to a new place...it may be tough to squeeze it in before xmas...
