Its probably just that angle, because they are pretty wide. That angle makes them look small. But seeing the bushwackers from that angle bushwackers are definately bigger.

I *used* to have a set of Bushwacker Extend-a-fender flares on the 94 but well after hitting them on rocks and trees, 3 of the 4 gave up the ghost, and I can't see spending all that $$$ again. I think that I will need to get some cut-out flares for the 87 though...

Yes they do make caps. I called a while back to check prices of some place in MI. The guy wanted to know if I had running boards or not to get the correct flare parts to go with them.

No drilling required! The directions they came with are very limited and give just enough instruction to give u a littlest clue how to install them. I got pissed off on the rear ones and end up drilling little holes inside my fender. So if i take them off you wont even notice. But other than the rear quarter panel flare everything bolted on easy once u understood the directions.
