Hey guys. Last time I posted I was looking at an 89sr5 4runner. Well, I ended up with a 1990 SR5, V6, 4 door 4runner....its pretty sweet..im happy with it, but I have a question for you guys. On my tailgate , right below my window it is horribly rusted out. I plan on buying a new tailgate, but has this happened to anyone else? I assume its from winter snow/salt getting on the window, melting and that the p[lace the salty water sits.....anyways...my second question is does anyone know where I can come by a good tailgate for a 1990 4runner:-)...

You could try salvage yards or ebay.
