Finally bought a 1st Gen.
I've been keeping my eyes open since i moved out west and finally found a perfect '89 SR5 V6, 5spd.
123K with head work done in '01.
A guy got it from the orig. owner last Oct (a lady who only drove it back and forth to work) for his daughter but now she's off to college.
The body is absolutely perfect with no rust at all!
The interior also looks new.
Manual hub conversion (Aisin) already done.
Paid $6000, a bit more than I wanted to spend but it's the best one I've ever seen. The truck runs smooth and the vehicle doesn't need any work at all.
The only problem is i have too many vehicles and too little garage space, damn!
I'll post some pics when I get some free time.
Now I just have to decide on which mods to do first.
I might start with a Canback(sp?) top and some more agressive tires.

Man Doc, you've got quite the Toy collection there...no wonder you ran out of garage space. Don't tell me this baby is in the same silver-tone color as your other two Toy's? Bet yer keychain is getting pretty heavy ...

Good find there Doc.
Sorry I could not meet up with you at work last Sunday.
I was under my hood and in the cab most of the day wiring up a new toy for my winch.
Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new found Toy.
Nice thing about rigs in WA. state is most are rust free here.
We get a lot of rain, but no salt goes on our roads in the winter.
That is the #1 killer of rigs, not the rain.
The Canback sounds like a very good mod to start out with.
Check out Mark's install tips in the Tech section here.
A Power Tank added to your roll bar would make another cool item to add too.

Forgot to mention this one is white.
This is it for awhile, my girlfriend says NO more vehicles.
I probably won't take on any mods until we move into Seattle, so i can hopefully get some help in case there's any snags.
