Today I finally got a chance to wash the rig after our last run on November the 9th.
The rig was coated pretty heavily with mud in the wheel wells, and the chassis.
Also the sliderz were coated pretty good too.
I have had the powder coated finish on the sliderz now since October 23rd.

They had got dragged over some gravel when we were up there, and I am happy to report they are not nicked or scratched at all on the bottoms.

Before they were powder coated, they had rattle can paint on them from the shop that made them.
Just driving up at Greenwater on the gravel fire roads had nicked them very bad and wore the paint off in places.

The powder coat is holding up very well, and I would not hesitate to recommend getting a pair done this way.
If you are going to be dragging them all the time over rocks, then rattle can or Por 15 like Roger Brown uses would be better.
Roger even said that he had a pair that were rattle canned and driving on some gravel roads nicked them up pretty good.

But for the amount of off roading I do, the powder coat should hold up fine. And what little scratches they do get underneath can be touched up with some rattle can paint along the bottoms.

Below are some close-ups from today after I washed the rig.
The powder coat matches the ARB bumper very well too.

The wheels on the rig are my winter tire/wheel combo I put on earlier in the week.
Not bad for $150 for all 4 wheels.
I only run these from November through March, then the Centerlines and other Wild Country tires get put back on again.

Looking good Corey. Yeah, I just touched up my sliders today since they were well beaten with just the black spray paint.

Since my sliders are welded on, I won't be able to have them powder-coated but I did do the undersides in that body undercoating type stuff. You know the kind which sort of stays textured and rubbery.

Anyways, it's held up pretty well. No dents or visible steel so I think I'll do the whole sliders in the stuff. It will also add a bit of traction in the rain since it's textured.

Corey,
I was just looking at your rig from the side view and was wondering if your rig sits a bit higher in the front. Are your t-bars cranked too high or is it just the picture? Also, looks like I will be at C4WD on Wed just to buy a winch. You were right, the winch mod is coming up fast. If you could make it I would finally get to see your truck. Let me know.

TS1, the rig is slightly higher in the front, bit I think it's the way the wheel wells are shaped.

You should have seen it the first week the new T bars were on, as we preloaded it by having it 1" higher than it is now.
I'd go over a speed bump and catch air

I could turn them down a notch, but the frame would slope forwards.
But also we measured the frame from the ground, and it's the same for the front as the rear.
It might look this way also on account of the way the wheel wells are cut.

What time will you be there? It's hard for me to get away from my place after 2 PM as my youngest son stops by after school from time to time.

Going for the Warn XD9000 like I have?

Talk to Xtreme Mike on that. He had a group buy on it one time.

The synthetic winch lines are safer than steel is, and mucho lighter.

Corey,
I read all your info on the Masterpull line. I will have to get that later. I am going with the M8000. It is $640 out the door. Warn is giving $50 instant credit on all winches to Dec. 15th If you have time in the morning we can meet otherwise it will have to wait until our next off road event. BTW, great info on all the winch line stuff. Actually, I didn't find anything on winch install. Am I just missing it on your site?

No install data on my site since Central put the winch in for me when they did the bumper.

Are you just buying it there, or having them put it on?
The bumper must come off for the installation.
One nice thing about that is the theft prevention of the winch that way.

Hey, while you are there, you might want to pick up that video I got from them a few months back.

I am just buying the winch that day. They are going to do the install after Christmas due to both their and my schedule. I am going to leave around 10am so as to avoid traffic.
