a few questions with piston ring job

hey all, i am almost ready to pull the engine.
i was wondering if there was any good tricks to do when pulling the transmission so i dont have to go out and buy a tranny jack. right now i have a really small floor jack from kragen for $20 and 2 jack stands. i know that a trans jack would be optimal but i dont have the money right now.

another question i have is about head bolts, rod bolts, and main bolts.
should i buy all of these from ARP/does arp offer these for the 22-re?

what should i replace when the engine is apart? (rod bearings, bolts, bushings, piston rings, etc.?)
anything special i should watch out for?(keeping #1 bolts and bearing with #1 rod and #1 rod with #1 piston?)

thanks all!

For the tranny removal with a floor jack....

Here is the "right tool" approach:

Here is the "budget: approach:

When doing the rebuild I would replace all bearings and seals, hone the engine cylinders and use new piston rings.
There is quite alot to doing a complete rebuild so it is very difficult to give it all in a concise answer.
A kit like this is helpful to ensure you have all the parts:
