Question Factory E Locker 2nd Gen?

I saw a writeup on disconnecting the 4lo safety on the Factory E locker on a 3rd Gen 4Runner. Does the 2nd gen have an E locker for 4lo from the factory? (If so, is the mod the same as on 2nd Gen? If not, has anyone done this on a 2nd gen?

This is probably a dumb question, so I'll appoligize in advance. I'm new to this whole scene, but loving it.

The E-Locker was only an option on 3rd gen Runners and Tacos. I was never available on the 2nd gen.

Hi
I dont think you have an E Locker on a 95.
Is there a seperate button that says DIFF LOCK?? No diff lock button on dash then no diff lock. It was also an option on the Gen 3.

Shoot...just use the writeup and put an E-Locker in the 2nd gen. The rear diff housing needs minimal modifications. You will have to put different ring and pinion in, but if you're serious about using the locker, you'll probably want different gears anyway.
