Haha, thanks guys. I actually just got home from kansas with the car. Very long drive, but not too bad.

It is a Bpu, just downpipe, exhaust, boost controller, gauge, and a turbo timer. Asthetics it has a rmm front lip and vielside rear lips.

Zublac, what kind of deal do you get on parts? As a former employee of intense motorsports out of gilbert, I have a decent connection, but they don't always do as good as they could for me. As for tech, I've been wrenching on these for 4 years now, and this is my second twin turbo. I do appreciate it however, and if I get stuck, I'll be sure to ask ya!

You worked at Intense?? No way!!! I always used to drive down there and look at the supras they had at the shop. Felt kinda stupid being there with a 4Runner though.

Very, very nice.!!

I myself have been looking for a "go fast" sports car the past 2 years now. I'm a big RX7 enthusiast. I've owned 4 in my lifetime and used to race scca with my first gen RX7 back in the 80's.

I'm currently looking to get a 3rd generation FD (RX7) with a t88 single turbo and all the goodies. I'm flying out to california to look at it in the next couple of weeks.

Congrat's again!

ps. invest in a Valentine One if you haven't already.

Very sweet Ralph! We should all meet up and have a Toyota meet. Maybe we can head out to the track?

I need to see what my rig will run anyway.

Be sure to stop in and say hi from time to time.

If you plan that during the summer, I may come. I need to go to ASU and check out their law school..

I also want to see what my ST185 will do at a lower elevation!!

You wont want to do that in 115 degree heat!

Of course at night, it cools down to 95 in the summer.

Let me know!

Congrats on the Supra. With those few mods you are probably putting down a minimum of 400hp to the ground. My friend's dynoed at 433whp with the same mods as you plus an air flow converter (S-AFC).
Good numbers for just a bit over $1000 in mods.

He now has a single T88 turbo conversion and at the last dyno he hit 627whp at 24psi and ran the 1/4 in 11.4@123mph up here at 5800ft asl. He also could absolutely walk a Viper GTS from a standing start and a 80mph roll.

The best bang for your buck car is the Supra IMO (700wheelhorse capability on the stock I-6) but the entry price is steep with special thanks (or no thanks) to Fast&The Furious for adding about $5k onto the price.

27k is a deal at the moment for that low of miles on a Supra.

Sure you could get a new 350Z but the Supra is rare (about 7000 imported into the US during it's 5 year stay and just under 4000 were 6 speeds) and will be quicker/faster for less $$$ if you decided to mod the 350 with a turbo/supercharger.

He is exactly right. Depending on color, that car was worth in the mid/high 30k range, maybe 40k and up if it was silver or rsp. I actually considered many cars before I decided to buy my second supra twin turbo. Many factors, but in the end, resale and potential won out. If you buy a Z, (which I test drove) at 27k, you get a base model that will be worth in the teens by next year, and I'm not taking a 10k hit for a year of driving.

My last car had more mods, but was also BPU. I'd guess this car around 420rwhp...we'll see soon

Oh, and they are extremely rare. There were only 109 of my car produced in '94 (which was the year of the most supra's ever produced).

oh, and I see you had an eclipse...that was my last project car that I actually finished before my last supra. Mine did 12.30s@112mph ~ 20g, fmic, 550s, VPC/GCC, here in az in the summer!

Now that I think about it I should have bought it, it was back in the beginning of janurary and it was freakin cold, that was when the Z was essentially brand new, I think someone actually traded it in for a 350Z why I don't know.

Im pretty sure the car was black or some real dark color that looked close to black like a burnt red, the price was 37k not 27k cause I remember looking the car up in KBB and being like 40k no way and finding similar cars selling for almost 60k in some places, mileage was between 20 and 36k and the car did not have a scratch on it, looked like it spent it's life in a garage.

I could only imagine what the dealer sold the car for, I looked on their website in pre-owned cars but after nearly a year I doubt they have it.

It was a hard top coupe with a 6speed
