Evap canister issue

Supercharged 3.4 and im having an issue with vacuum being puled thru the evap purge valve is this normal? If I hook it up where its supposed to (pre maf) it is a huge vacuum leak!!!. Right now its i have the canister capped off. Is my hose routing bad? Big hose on the left is coming from the port on the s/c and small off the valve goes to the nipple on the airbox correct?

I should add it is a 3.4 swapped 2nd gen with the ‘97 evap can (the cam cover bent on the intake pipe right bow is plugged because i need a longer hose see pink cap lol) also the tee on the left side of the evap can is blocked off didnt have a long enough hose.

I don't know if this helps you at all...

The hose on the far left with the square box in front of the nipple goes into a port in the frame...basically nowhere
The hose next to it goes to the nipple that sits between the air filter and the maf on the filter box.

I don't have a supercharger on my 96 so am not familiar, below is what I used to determine I had a bad vsv.

So after all this time I ended finding a 3rd gen on marketplace and checked it out just to see the factory evap hose routing. And i was pretty much backwards. Green capped port goes to plenum/supercharger and the port on the left i had originally going to that actually goes to the small nipple on the side of the airbox. And the port on my homemade intake tube (pink cap) goes to the drivers side valve cover port on the back. Hope this helps anyone trying to maintain the 3rd gen charcoal canister on there 3.4 swap! Any questions just ask!
