EFI relay - hope this is it
So before I take this rig to my Friendly Neighborhood Repair Dude (it's 20 frickin' degrees and snow on the ground, and I'm NOT crawling under this 'runner) I figure I'll drop some money on an EFI relay to see if that is causing my fuses to constantly blow.
I really don't think it's the fuel pump wiring because the damn thing ALMOST catches and then it doesn't. Fuel is getting up to the rail, and then something else in the "pre-ignition" sequence is causing the fuse to blow.
I had a bad battery ground, but have worked over the battery connections and everyhing seems to be better. I'm hoping that the bad ground didn't let the magic smoke out of the ECU, or I shall be tres pissed.
But the fact is that my 4WD 'Runner is sitting, impotent, as I slide around these snowbanks in a Chevy Astro. I love the Astro to death, but I love it a lot more when the pavement is dry. I gotta get this beast running again.
