Driveshaft help

i am replacing the carrier bearing on the rear driveshaft of my taco
and when I removed it I forgot to mark the position of the shaft on the pinion
is this that inportat and if it is what should do about this when i re-install it tomorow when i have a few less stouts in me?

If it is a CV joint at the rear half of the shaft, it makes no difference how it goes back onto the pinion flange.
