Driveshaft fell off rear-end....
A couple of days ago i was driving down the highway and my driveshaft broke off the rear-end. Of course the u-joint is totally gone but i already have another one of those. The thing im looking for is the part that the u-joint connects to on the rear-end. I have some links to some pictures of it. It is the part that is bolted on with 4 bolts. and one of the arms is broken off as you can see. I need to know what that part is called because nobody can seem to figure it out. Also...when i was looking under my car on the side of the highway....i noticed that this big ring was just hanging on the axle...i know it fell off the driver's side brake drum but what does that ring do and how can i get it back on?
Thank alot...
