drag raced a mr2 and won!
So last night, I was driving home and this guy was up on my a$$ because I was going under 60mph in a 45...woopdeedoo... so we get to a light and I gas it a little and he does too. Well, I have a great history of drag racing my other vehicles, but i'm sure i'll lose because it is a 4runner and mr2's are so much lighter. Well, the light turns green and i'm smoking this guy with no problem. I have him by a car and a half, and he's sitting there inside his car with a buddy shifting his gears probably thinking this guys 4runner must be modded or something. But no, completely stock so after the race I looked at him and he gave one of saddest looks i've ever seen, like I shattered his dreams of becoming a professional racer! lmao...Well, I guess i'll add another one onto the kill list. For the record it was a non turbo mr2, the turbo's would kill me in a heartbeat.

Ain't it great toasting a smarta$$?
One Sunday mornin' years ago, I was enjoyin' the sunshine in a '69 Mercury Marquis convertible. About 4800 lbs of car motivated by a 429 4barrel. Everytime I pulled up to a light, this fairly new, red, early 90's Camaro RS would pull up beside me, race his engine and peel out. This happened at 2 or 3 lights.
Now I knew I couldn't clean him from a stop...too much inertia in 4800 lbs, so timed the last light so I was rolling when it turned green. Sure enough he peeled out, I just opened up that 429 and left him in a cloud of unburned hydrocarbon smoke. He was probably only a V6 or a de-tuned small-block, but he turned off Mesa street a little smarter about messin' with early iron and cubic inches.
