SO, theoretically at least, if the left hub is not engaged, the LEFT wheel will get most of the power and the right shouldn't pull like that. It's all because of the setup of an open differential. Still could be a bad hub, and other factors may be in play that I'm not accounting for. Unfortunately, by the way you're describing the harshness of the pull, it sounds like a good look at the hubs and CV joints is warranted.

Thats the odd part, hubs fully engage(they are stiff but engage), CV's don't bind/make noise. No noise form the front in/out 4wd. Just a distinct pull. It does have a track-lock in the front, granted I have never liked these units, it was in there and will be leaving as soon as I get the d44 built and tossed in..
The only thing I can think is the front diffs is torquing to one side(had a braket fail last winter/break) cusing the pull, but again everything looks good and tight...

Ok after a very slow drive home night before last on a skating rink I came home and told Crash we had to figure out what was wrong with my 4 wheel drive. It drove worse in 4wheel drive then in 2. Not only had the pull gotten worse but it was like it would be driving and then lock up, pull the opposite direction, make a bunch of noise like something was breaking and then unlock.. Just thug and let loose. Then drive normal for a while. Then lock up again, pull to the left again etc.. Finally I said screw it and took it out of 4 wheel drive and crawled the rest of the way home in 2 wheel drive. Today he took apart the hub and discovered it had frozen up. So he took it apart and cleaned it out and that solved at least some of the pull. It doesn't pull as hard now. But I'm not sure if it solved the rest cause the ice is melted off the roads now so I can't retest how it handles on the icy roads.

Ok problem solved. New tires and it drives like a dream. I finally broke down and bought new tires since mine were so bad and now I have no pull whatsoever and it drives like a whole new truck. Someone said I probably had a bad belt.. Anway it's all better now. Thanks for all the suggestions.
