Key word here is "R E S P E C T."
There is totally a lack of respect among kids today. They have no "honor" either. I mean towards each other, elders, and of course property. You get in a fight today, and someone might kill or shoot you. In my day, you fist fight, and may even end up respecting the other person, whether you won the fight or not. What's up with society? You can only point the finger for so long, at the parents. Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now...
I too had my wife's black, honda civic egged. Even though I washed it off the next morning, it had already dried and left a nice "impact star" in the paint. One on the front fender and one on the back fender. Nothing pisses me off more than a coward, that does something like that.

Paintball paint is also damaging!
I know someone whose Pathfinder got hit by a number of paintballs. He didn't clean it off right away and now he has some serious streaks down the back of his black vehicle....

Noone respects anyones property, my friend who is a firefighter told me she went to what was a car explosion, some kid had a problem with another kid who he thought was messing around with his girl so he dropped a half stick of dynamite in the tank, don't know the fire crackers name but he ended up almost killing himself, he must have forgot in the sudden rage that he would have to run like lightning, she was told by some of the students he almost killed, the car cleared 10 feet off the ground when the tank exploded and destroyed 5 other cars and damaging like 30 in the parking lot.
Kid was 19 and this was not his 1st offence so he spent 90 days in jail, don't really know the highschool it happened in but their are armed guards with cops stationed in the school, metal detectors and the drugs and weapons they find are nuts for highschool kids

I teach high school. Which is another reason to drive a '89 Corolla with 255K and needs a paint job. None of the students have ever bothered it.
I tell them if they want extra credit, paint it and flame it.

Try a full Griot's treatment, it will at least take the bite out of the stain. HS was crazy, wasn't it? I remember when the football player (nose tackle) that I carpooled with got sick of the door dings from the guy next to him. He ripped off the punks drivers side mirror and threw it in the guy's truck bed! I agree, there is a total lack of respect going around, and it is only getting worse.
