I would pay that if he replaced the radiator and condensor, and got rid of that backyard ghetto fab. Makes me wonder about the quality of the rest of it....

X2, 1in is perfectly fine, its when you get to 2 and 3 you have to worry.

Oh well.

Does it honestly cost that much to replace a radiator and condenser?
Honestly, this rig is immaculate and can go through some narly stuff.
I think the price is just right for the year, model, mods, and the places its been.
Remember this is not a street queen this is an off-road rig that gets used.

I wish him lots of luck on his sale, its a shame, but maybe he is looking to build something else.

Asking 16,500? The owner better have the best of the best for that kind of coin.

Besides being able to find 4th gens for less than that, I could find an 01 locally and put about the same amount of money into it, have less miles, and not have a radiator or AC condenser to worry about.

Doing it right, yes it does cost a good amount to replace the radiatior and condenser. You have to have the AC drained legally, the coolant will need drained, then replace the two parts, refill the coolant, and then find a shop to charge the AC and do it RIGHT (those Schucks special AC kits are JUNK)

All that adds up. And I also question the broken Condenser. Why or how did it break? They are metal brackets attached to a metal condenser. The factory ones are almost indestructable. So there again it makes me question has it been rebuilt? Perhaps cheap aftermarket parts that have prematurely failed?

Im really just thinking out loud here. No doubt its a great rig. But 17k? Remember tax and license, so all said and done you are almost 20K for this truck.

Yep, its mine. I never even visit this site anymore, just on UY.

"DeathCougar" what the hell? You have no idea what youre talking about. The radiator/condenser is hardly an issue. The condenser is a cheap China made unit that i installed a while beack due to an incident with a drill. Errrr. It broke because it isnt the greatest quality condenser, but it holds the charge and the ac blows damn cold. The quality of it plus the fact that i actually use the truck is why it failed. I was going to replace both parts but saw no need after doing the repair.

Ghetto fab? How is that? Whats ghetto about it? I have never had anything but compliments on it and most of the time people cant believe that i actually built it. But whatever, keep being an internet tough guy and talking crap. Whatever gets you through the day.

For those that know me both in person and from UY, you know that my truck is built very very well. It will handle damn near anything and will cruise to and from at 80mph. Everything is explained in detail on ebay. The starting price is very reasonable considering the mileage, the mods, the kbb value and, the fact that its certified pre owned, etc., etc..

The reason i am selling is to eliminate debt. I need to buy a house and the housing market here in Cali. is really dropping and i need to set my self up financially so that i can buy a home in the near future. I wish i could keep the truck, but unfortunately i need to do whats best for my family. I will definitely miss it.

Oh, and like others said, 1" of body lift is hardly too much. Haha.

Good luck selling that truck! It is sweet for sure.

About the body lift: I wasn't aware that it made your exhaust look so disjointed, you know? What do people do make it look better? Do they just modify the brackets?

If i kept the truck i would simply have the exhaust re routed between the body and frame and dumped. Then there would be no exhaust to drag on things and would be completely out of sight.

Yeah man, that is definitely one badass 4Runner. I've admired it since the first day I saw it on Ultimate-Yota. I would definitely buy it if I could afford it. I think you're crazy for selling it though, no way I let go of something like that..

Thanks for the kind words guys. I hope it goes to a good home and who ever buys it will definitely be stoked on it. It really is one hell of a truck.
