Do you want a free 1st gen?
One catch, it's been stripped to the max.
It is basically a shell, but the owners are willing to give it away for free.
This is in WA. state, and you would have to take in a flatbed truck to haul it out of the woods.
If anyone is really interested in this, please PM me and I can give you their telephone #s to get in touch with them.

Hopefully you can help us:
A few months ago, my husband had his truck stolen from a Park-n-ride in
Port Orchard. We were just notified that the vehicle was located but
unfortunately it has been completely stripped. When I say stripped, I
mean that absolutely everything is missing except the body and the front
doors! The body is in excellent condition and with the right expertise
(and time), the truck could make an excellent off road 4X4 vehicle.
If this is of interest, please contact me. We are willing to sign the
title over to whomever wants to haul the body out of the woods.
Details of the vehicle:
1986 Toyota 4Runner
Light Grey with black top.
Tail gate is missing but front doors are still attached and working.
Engine, seats, dash, stick shift, all windows, and wheels are also
missing. (engine hood is detached but still on the vehicle)
Since the vehicle is in the woods, a 4X4 pickup with lift would be
necessary to haul it out. We drove out to the truck last weekend, and
it's easy to get too. There are a few 'semi' deep puddles that you need
to drive through to locate, but any 4X4 vehicle could access it (we
currently have another 1986 4Runner, and had no troubles getting to it).
We are more interested in the environmental issue of leaving the truck
in the woods but we have no way of removing the vehicle ourselves.

Man that sucks. I think I would rather never hear about my truck again then have to see it stripped out laying in the woods somewhere.

Yes, V6 came in '88.
Yep, '85 4Runner or truck and EFI.
Perfect combo.
But still, the solid axles from Toyota can be much approved upon.
There is a good article from a few months ago in my mag I get delivered to my home.
http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/
They used an All Pro kit to beef up the early solid axles by moving the front axle further ahead, and also new leaves in back and up front.
Here is the kit for the older solid axle rigs.

Crash on the forum here does this to the older Toys' also to make then articulate better off road.

It came from the infamous Air Nissan Greenwater run.
WildYoat's knock-off?
Don't think so.
I made it on a day I was extremely board, and trying my hand out with transparent GIFs.

But all it is is a circle cutout I made of my rig using MS Picture It, and I added text to it.
I don't see how that can be a rip off of your guy's stickers, unless you guy's have a patent on the basic geometric shape of the wheel
